Statements this record supports

  • C-047 — Charles S. Lilley is listed at 236 Fairmount Street in the 1915 tax list (also as executor), and 'Heirs of Arthur P. Bonney, 236 Fairmount street' are assessed in 1916 — i.e. the house remained in the Bonney estate while Lilley lived there.
  • C-052 — L. J. Richards's Atlas of the City of Lowell (1906), plate 10, labels the parcel 'Arthur P. Bonney (Estate), 247170' [sq ft] and shows two masonry buildings — the house with a curved drive and the carriage house near Whitman Street. The Franklin Survey Co.'s Property Atlas (1936), plate 11, labels the same parcel 'Charles B. Stevens et ux' with the same two buildings.
