Statements this record supports
- C-028 — The estate's carriage house — the 'Stable for Mr A. T. Atherton' by Merrill & Cutler published in June 1883 — stands northeast of the house and is today a separate private residence at 222 Fairmount Street (NRHP nomination 1995: 'Arthur Bonney Estate Carriage House, 222 Fairmount St., 1883', contributing).
- C-038 — 236 Fairmount Street ('Arthur Bonney Estate', 1883, Chateauesque) is a contributing property in the Belvidere Hill Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places on 26 May 1995 (ref. 95000656); the district's southern boundary runs along the southern line of no. 236. The nomination calls it 'the district's only example of the Chateauesque Style' and notes 'rough-faced ashlar construction' and the porte-cochère; the garage (ca. 1940) and the carriage house (222 Fairmount, 1883) are also contributing.
