- C-1019 — After General Butler's house at 333 Andover Street was demolished in March 1979 (C-1023), its grounds lay empty for a few years and were then built over by a subdivision. The city's assessor's records today list no 333 Andover Street; they date the houses on Mansion Drive to 1982–1986 (one 1993), on Carriage Drive to 1983 (two later), and on Butler Drive to 1983, all on the same assessor's map as the neighboring Andover Street lots. The survey form for the 'Lawrence-Butler House' (dated 1981 on its catalog record; the form itself is undated) carries two photographs of the grounds, one showing the house at the end of a long walk under large trees, and a sketch map with the house in a large lot south of Andover Street; since the house came down in March 1979, the photographs were taken before then. With the 2000 National Register nomination (the estate's grounds lay 'between Mansion Drive and Pentucket Avenue'; 'the balance of the estate was subdivided in the 1980s'; only the granite retaining wall on Andover Street survives), this makes the houses on Mansion, Carriage and Butler Drives the estate's replacement.
